These Terms of Service govern your use of the PapaBear application. By downloading or using PapaBear, you agree to these terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PapaBear, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use PapaBear for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

Subscription Terms

PapaBear offers free and premium tiers. Premium features are available through monthly subscriptions or a one-time lifetime purchase.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
• Free trial periods, if offered, automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

Refund Policy

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's standard refund process. We do not process refunds directly. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund from Apple.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device and account.
• All data you enter into the app.
• Ensuring the accuracy of information stored in the app (medical details, allergy info, emergency contacts).
• Backing up your data. While PapaBear stores data locally and optionally in iCloud, we are not responsible for data loss.
• Complying with applicable laws in your use of the app.

Disclaimers

PapaBear is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

PapaBear is not a medical device. Health and wellness features are for informational purposes only and should not replace professional medical advice. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical decisions.

PapaBear is not a legal tool. The custody calendar feature is for organizational purposes only and does not constitute legal documentation or advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PapaBear and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the app, regardless of the theory of liability.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
